Fiesta Fun…..Happy Cinco De Mayo

It’s one of those days when the internet is out in my apartment, boo. I called my service provider, won’t name names but the recording says, “were having technical difficulty in NYC & we’re working hard to repair it.” With my Mac book in tow, I venture through the East Village in search of Wifi & stumble onto Ost Cafe on 12th & Avenue A…a quaint vintage French inspired coffee shop by day & diabolical wine bar by night. Ost is adorable, if your in the hood, check it out. They make delicious green iced tea, perfectly refreshing for this perfectly spectacular day. It doesn’t help any that the people watching & music selection is A+.

As for Cinco De Mayo, I’m celebrating with home made quac & fresh salsa-whooohoo. Via Etsy’s daily email I found these hysterical Mustachio glasses from Etsy seller 502global, There perfect for any kind of fiesta & have been added to my “must own list.”

This little gem I found Via Gawker last week…It’s guaranteed to make you laugh if you’ve seen Lady Gaga’s Telephone Video, as for the funny part, watch this…. Gaga for the Guys.

The best chicken coops ever!! Via Making It Lovely, I would love to have chickens, mostly because I want to buy them a cute little house.

Brooklyn Botanical Garden is oh so precious right now, everything is blooming, the gardens are really impressive & this place is huge. Visiting the gardens has been on my “things to do in NYC list” for quite sometime and somebody surprised me with a trip out here—-totally worth it, great picnic spot.
